Kristin Hollis's Profile

Kristin Hollis was born in Edinburgh and graduated from the University of Reading in 1964.

She later met her New Zealand architect husband and moved with him to Nelson in 1968. After teaching and painting she returned to university and graduated with a Masters of Fine Art (painting) from the University of Canterbury in 1998.

In 2002 she won the Centre of Contemporary Art Guthrey Travel Award for her "Leader of the Pack", and was runner up in the Cranleigh Barton Drawing award. In 2005, she won the Cranleigh Barton Drawing award for her series, "Cat Farming".

"Seepish" is an exhibition of drawings, 11-28 March 2009.
