Craig Bluett's ProfileCraig Bluett spent his formative years in Tonga and Nelson and it was Bronwyn Marwick, a teacher at Waimea College in Nelson, who inspired him to pursue a career in art. Craig majored in printmaking for his Diploma of Fine Arts at Otago and in Art History at Canterbury University. He has taught art since 1988 and lived in Marlborough since 1994. Craig has exhibited his work throughout New Zealand and is represented by the Salamander Gallery in Christchurch, the Port Folio Gallery in Auckland and Oriel Gallery in Picton. In this exhibition Craig is showing a series of mono prints made by engraving metal roasting tins! |
